New Shop at "Cloud 9" by Jun Jun and Lena...
Our surfguide and very good friend Jun Jun, just opened together with his wife Lena their own first surf shop at "Cloud 9" on Siargao Island! A long time dream for them came true and we are very happy for them!
Even the name of the shop is very authentic and jun jun like: "very good nice"... ;)
This place is also a very popular hangout for local surfers and tourists, as there is always something happening... Make a visit and have a look around the shop!
Simon, a master of fishing...
Simon Gerber, a young fella from the mountains of Switzerland, passionate about surfing and multiple visitor of our "Kahina surf retreat" on Siargao Island, seems like to be a pretty talented fisherman as well, as you can see on the picture.
We remember the moment, when Simon came the first time to Siargao Island and wanted to know about the "deep sea fishing" possibilities on Siargao Island. We told him about our experiences and hooked him and his friends up with "Junior Gonzales" for one of this deepsea fishing trips. Already the first trip was pretty successful for the guys and after they came back to the resort, there was enough fish for everybody! Guests, staff and friends were enjoying the delicious "catch of the day"!
